Are cracks appearing throughout your home?

You may not realise that cracked walls and ceilings, and sinking floors are often the result of broken or cracked foundations.

This can be caused by a number of factors, be it reactive clays, un-compacted soils, insufficient drainage, or poor serviceability of plumbing services.

Foundation Crack Repair Methods

The key to dealing with these variables, such as un-compacted soils, is to introduce enough constants to the ground to support the foundation so as to minimise the risk of future movement.

Our resin injection approach to fixing cracked foundations is far more cost effective and unobtrusive with very minimal down time compared to traditional underpinning.

We inject at different depths supporting the existing footings and increasing the load bearing capacity of the soils surrounding them. To confirm consolidation we need to achieve a degree of lift. This is part of the process of re-levelling footings back to their original state, as conditions allow.

``I would like to recommend the team at Resinject if you need foundation stabilisation or slab lifting. The guys were very professional, took lots of time to explain the process and cleaned up which is rare these days. Left the site cleaner than arrival I think.
As to the result, we could not be happier. Ours did seem like a dream lift with 12 mm cracks completely closed to the extend that a paint over will be sufficient.
Right from contact point the attitude was far better than the other mob, whose quotation was much dearer. We could not be happier.``

``Using Resinject’s services to stabilise our house foundations was the best and most simple way to get the job done. The team were extremely professional and highly skilled in their work. It was both a relief and a pleasure to work with Resinject to get a great outcome. Myself and my other tradesperson who was here observing will refer interested people to you.``

``We are very impressed with the work ethic and professional manner of the Resinject team. Not only were they happy to explain the procedure and the results in detail, but also explain the repair methodology and warranty, with an up front cost estimate both prior to work commencing and during the procedure if anomalies arose. This educated us in the building foundation state and any possible extra costs if required to ensure the project remained on budget. We would gladly recommend the Resinject team to everyone. You won’t be disappointed!``

``We have a heritage listed house with sandstone foundations which was developing large cracks upstairs. The staff from Resinject provided a very detailed quotation, taking the time to make measurements as to how far the back of the house had subsided. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff who carried out the work. Their attention to detail was impressive and they explained what was happening throughout the day. They left the site clean and tidy and were careful to keep us informed about how much product was used and discussed if any more product was needed.``

Frequently asked questions

How urgent is it to address a compromised foundation?

Leaving an unstable structure can cause further issues. By having an early assessment/treatment, will save further costs and lessen further damage occuring.

How long will it take to complete the job?

Most residential jobs are finished within a few hours. Bigger projects may take over a day; your project manager will discuss the time frame as part of the free site assessment and quoting.

Why does it take a licenced builder to carry out a site assessment?

Only a licenced builder has the knowledge and experience required to assess how a building’s internal structure is going to react to ground consolidation and stabilisation.

What are the guarantees of your product?

Drawing on over 60 years’ combined experience, Resinject only use an Australian Standard resin and inject to a depth of up to 3.5 metres if necessary. We also provide plenty of support around each lift point. This is why we can confidently guarantee our product against significant settlement for a full 50 years.

How deep into the ground do you inject?

Injection depth can be critical to ensuring long-term ground consolidation. Each situation varies and the injection depth is determined by the state of the ground. That’s why we inject our resin at multiple and different depths varying between 800mm and 3.5m.

Will there be any need for digging around the building?

If there are utility services in close proximity to the injection points, we may have to clear some area for a visual inspection. Otherwise, only small holes are drilled to allow our product to be injected. These are sealed with non-shrink grout upon completion.
