A stunning historic double brick single story residential home built in 1907.
The Issue
Two of the bedrooms had developed cracks in the walls. The structural cracks were a sign the house was suffering from subsidence.
Not fixing the issue could lead to costly repairs in the future.
The Resinject Solution
Resinject was chosen to remediate the subsidence. Resinject used their RSJ170 structural resin. RSJ170 fixes subsidence by expanding upon injection into the ground, filling voids and compacting loose soil, thereby stabilising and strengthening the overlaying foundation.
The treatment lifted the foundations 25mm which closed the cracks and prepared them for aesthetic repairs.
