If you’re a property owner, whether that property is residential, commercial or industrial, it’s important to be aware of the risks that subsidence might present. Subsidence, which is the sinking of land caused by the destabilisation of soil, can cause the foundations of your property to sink along with the soil it is built on.
This can lead to a range of problems, with unlevel or uneven floors among the most common. If you need a specialist for house underpinning in Sydney, get in touch with Resinject. Providing services ranging from foundation repair to concrete floor re-levelling and much more, we can help by restoring stability and enhancing foundational strength to your home.

Frequently Asked Questions
Leaving an unstable structure can cause further issues. Having an early assessment and treatment will save further costs and lessen further damage from occurring.
Most residential jobs are finished within a few hours. Bigger projects and commercial underpinning may take over a day; your Structural Consultant will discuss the time frame as part of the free site assessment and quoting.
Only a licensed builder has the knowledge and experience required to assess how a building’s internal structure is going to react to ground consolidation and stabilisation.
Drawing on over 100 years’ combined experience in underpinning services, Resinject only uses a resin that has an Australian Standard resin and can be injected to a depth of up to 6.5 metres if necessary, with the required re-support installed. We do offer a 50-year guarantee against shrinkage with our product.
Injection depth can be critical to ensuring long-term ground consolidation. Each situation varies, and the injection depth is determined by the state of the ground and or dependent on geo-technical reports. That’s why we inject our resin at multiple and different depths varying between 800mm and 6.5m.
If there are utility services in close proximity to the injection points, we may have to clear some areas for a visual inspection. Otherwise, only small holes are drilled to allow our product to be injected. These are sealed with non-shrink grout upon completion.
Early signs of subsidence may include cracks appearing in walls, doors and windows that stick or no longer close properly, uneven floors, gaps between walls and ceilings, or skirting boards and sudden movement in outdoor structures such as fences or retaining walls. If you notice any of these, we recommend seeking a professional assessment as soon as possible.
In most cases, homeowners are not required to vacate their property during residential underpinning. However, in rare cases of severe structural issues, temporary relocation may be advised.
Resin injection underpinning is significantly less disruptive compared to traditional methods. While some noise is inevitable due to drilling and equipment operation, we use modern technology to minimise disturbance.
Yes, resin injection can typically proceed even in poor weather conditions or following heavy rainfall. The materials used cure quickly underground. In extreme weather scenarios, we may need to delay work temporarily.
Resin injection is highly effective in stabilising a wide range of soil types, including clay soils, sandy or loose soils, reactive or poorly compacted fill and voided areas beneath the foundation.
The cost of resin injection underpinning in Sydney varies depending on several factors, such as the extent of the subsidence, property size, foundation type, soil conditions and accessibility. Book a free quote today.
