The Site

An industrial timber yard. The iconic year operates around the clock delivery trucks entering and leaving the site day and night.

The Issue

The slabs in and around the yard kept “bouncing” when trucks and forklifts drove over them.

The constant heavy vehicle movement and underlying weak ground conditions had caused areas of the slabs to drop significantly.

This meant areas were unstable and there was a risk of vechiles losing their timber loads and the slabs becoming more damaged beyond repair.

The Resinject Solution

Resinject was appointed to fill the voids and lift the slabs with minimal impact to the site’s core daily functions.

The crew re-aligned adjoining slabs by lifting 30mm, stitching the slabs together and stabilising the undermined areas. Our resin injection raised and and re-levelled the impacted slabs in a single process.

Our solution was a far more cost-effective alternative to traditional underpinning processes, which can be expensive and disruptive.

The client was very happy with the result, posting a great review on Google for us.
