A large industrial business complex. The facility operates around the clock manufacturing and delivering products through out Australia.
The Issue
A section of the masonry in the warehouse, built on a concrete strip footing, was showing signs of subsidence. The foundations of the warehouse were built predominantly on a mixture of fill material and highly reactive clays.
Water ingress had caused the clay to shrink and become compromised, resulting in building movement and damage the structure.
The Resinject Solution
Resinject was chosen to rectify the issue. Over four hours the team strengthened the weak ground by injecting Resinject RSJ170 structural resin.
RSJ170 structural resin is made and certified in Australia and is backed by a 50 year product warranty.
The foundations were levelled and the visual cracks in the bricks closed by 90%. The client was extremely happy and has asked Resinject to quote on further works.
