A suburban home with a 15m long concrete driveway.
The Issue
The driveway had gradually sunk over the years, leading to a visible tilt and creating a hazardous step between two sections.
This caused the vehicles to bounce each time they drove over. The sinking was attributed to soil erosion and inadequate foundational support.
The Resinject Solution
Utilising advanced resin injection techniques, Resinject addressed the sinking driveway by injecting their RSJ170 Structural Resin into the affected areas beneath the foundation. Multiple injection points were strategically placed to stabilise the ground and restore the driveway level.
By raising the subsided slab by 45mm, Resinject not only rectified the tilt but also eliminated the safety hazard posed by the uneven section. The homeowner was delighted, the works ensured safety and added value to their property.
