1. Get in Touch

Resinject pride ourselves on a fast, efficient response time to your enquiry.

  • You’re always speaking to real people, not an automatic call back service.
  • One of our qualified Structural Consultants will contact you to assess the problem and book in your free onsite assessment.

2. Assessment

For all enquiries the Assessor will arrive on-site on the arranged day and on time.

  • A detailed assessment of the affected area (inclusive of levels) is carried out, to ascertain the root cause of the problem and determine a solution.
  • We discuss the remediation work and provide a full explanation of our methodology and processes.

3. Quote

On completion of the detailed assessment, a Scope of Work is drawn up by the Structural Consultant whilst still on-site. A scope of works will be generated from the assessment.

  • We will send through a digital quote, for your approval and acceptance.
  • Once the quote is approved, a 10% deposit is required to book the job in.

4. Resinject repairs

Our Specialised team, consisting of a Supervisor and Specialised Operators, will attend on the scheduled day to carry out the works.

  • On arrival, the Supervisor will carry out a site-specific safety meeting, covering all aspects of the job, including services and any potential hazards associated with the job.

  • Our team operates with the highest level of professionalism and efficiency, to minimise any disruption to you or your business.
  • On completion of the works, the Supervisor will walk the client through the project and explain what has been achieved.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the job, and comes with peace of mind backed by our 50-year warranty on the product.

Underpinning – Frequently Asked Questions

What is underpinning?

Underpinning is the technical term for stabilising and structurally repairing the foundations of buildings. It’s a delicate process that needs to maintain the integrity of the structure, while the foundations are reinforced.

The process of our deep in-ground injection is to install poly-urethane piers to provide additional support to the structure, this significantly improves the ground’s load-bearing capacity. Resinject has successfully been able to improve customers’ existing ground bearing capacity by over four (4) times its original strength.

Underpinning  is a popular option because repairing the foundations is cheaper and produces much less demolition waste than building a new structure from scratch.

When is underpinning required?

Resinjects underpinning solutions are needed anytime the original foundations of a building have shifted or moved and are no longer strong enough to support the house.

This is usually a result of the change of the soil structure or an external influence.

Underpinning includes both old buildings and newly built homes where the foundations are no longer supporting the entire load of the structure.

For example, older buildings may be structurally sound, but their traditionally constructed foundations are much shallower, making them more susceptible to differential movement. In these cases, the original foundations need to be strengthened so that they will be stable enough to continue to support the building.

It is possible for the buildings to remain strong, but the underlying soil substrate becomes unstable. If the soil can no longer hold the weight of the structure – whether due to the passing of time, or to specific events such as droughts, floods or seismic activity – the foundations will need to be reinforced.

How much does underpinning cost?

Underpinning costs will depend on the specific project.

If you have a home with cracked or sinking foundations, take note: Resinject underpinning costs far less than conventional mass concrete underpinning or even demolishing and building a new house.

Resinjects smart sustainable solutions offer a non-invasive cost effective alternative to traditional underpinning methods.

Resin injection costs depend on the size of the treatment area, site specific ground conditions, the level of damage and the volume of resin required to do the work.
